Advocare 24 Day Challenge Day: 1

Hey Everyone!  Ok, so I started the 24DC today, and overall it went pretty well!  Here is how my day looked on the challenge.  

First Upon Waking:  Fruit Punch SPARK (on an empty stomach)

Breakfast:  (30 Minutes after SPARK)  Fiber Drink and Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake

    •                       I screwed up here, because you are actually supposed to take the Fiber Drink 30 minutes after the SPARK, followed immediately with 8oz water, and then wait another 20-30 minutes to eat breakfast.  By not doing this, my stomach felt EXTREMELY full and not so good for awhile...but much better by mid-afternoon!  LESSON LEARNED!
Mid-Morning Snack:  Banana

Lunch:  Tuna Salad found in the 24 Day Challenge Cookbook on a piece of whole wheat      
               toast and a side of grapes.


Mid-Afternoon Snack:  Banana with peanut butter  and 3 Catalyst Pills (to be taken 15-30 
                                           prior to exercise)

Exercise:  Jillian Michaels Total Body Revolution Phase 1

Dinner:  Slow Cooker Chicken Fajitas found in the 24 Day Challenge Cookbook  (these
                 were SUPER YUMMY!)  I had them over brown rice.  Also, 2 Omegaplex Pills.

Evening Snack:  1 cup raw carrots (boring I know!)

Before Bed:  Herbal Cleanse Tablets

Total I drank approximately 70oz of water today (needless to say I had to pee A LOT!!)

Overall Thoughts:  I thought overall today went well (aside from screwing up with the fiber drink!)  The SPARK definitely kept me energized, and I could tell a difference in my mood.  I was less irritable all around, even when the kids were driving me crazy today!  The SPARK is really yummy, and even though I am not normally a coffee drinker, the SPARK gets me going, and I don't feel jittery nor did I end up having a "crash."  I'm excited to see what tomorrow brings, an plan on sticking with this 110%!  

Since this is Day 1, I promised that I would post my measurements and pictures.  I didn't really realize how much I need to lose some weight until I saw the pictures from the camera.  Please be kind, and I ask you not to share these photos on your pages.  

Here are my current measurements:  
Waist:  31"
Hips:  41 1/2"
Right Thigh:  20 1/2"
Weight:  145 lbs
