Today was a little tough in the eating department. Not so much with WHAT I ate, but more so at the TIMES I ate. My schedule is a little crazy on a Wednesday, and I don't necessarily get to eat at proper times, so I was a little off today. Also, with Wednesdays usually beign super busy, I didn't get to drink all the water I wanted to. Tomorrow will be back to normal, and I can get back on track. Also, I FINALLY got to the grocery store tonight, and now I can have some better snacks instead of the boring carrots...woo hoo! Here is a rundown of the day:
Pre-Breakfast (8am): Pro-Biotics capsules and 3 catalyst followed by 80z water. SPARK Fruit Punch Drink
Exercise (15 minutes after Catalyst): Jillian Michaels Total Body Revolution Workout 1
Breakfast (9:15am): 2 eggs, piece whole wheat toast, red grapes + 2 Omegaplex
This is where my day gets a little messy....
Mid-Morning Snack (at 11:30): Raw Almonds
Lunch (3:30 this is when break time is): Leftover whole grain spaghetti with lean beef and sauce, garden salad with evoo and balsamic vinegar.
Mid-Afternoon Snack (6:15- had to squeeze this one in between patients!): Apple with PB2
Dinner (not until 8pm the time I left work :( Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake + 2 Omegaplex
Before Bedtime: Herbal Cleanse Tablets
Amount of water consumed: 860z
Overall Thoughts: Wednesdays are usually my crazy days, so this was a slight curveball in getting to eat the right things at the right time. I didn't drink as much water as I wanted to, but I did make sure I got my work out done in the morning because there would be no way I would want to do it at 10pm when I got home. I am still feeling really good! I am almost halfway through the cleanse phase, and I don't feel starved or really have any cravings! When I was at the grocery store tonight I just slid right past the chip, pretzels and yummy sugary stuff so easily! I was pleasantly surprised being that it was 9pm, and all I had was a shake prior!
Let me end by saying that we will always remember the heroes and innocent victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks and also the loved ones who were lost just one year ago on September 11, 2012 in Benghazi. Let us carry the torch for those we honor, and support the ones who continue to fight for our freedom.
